Objective
Mulashi is the taluka with heavy rainfall areas in Pune district during the monsoon season. Road transport facilities are limited, and in the rainy season, it is difficult for individuals to reach the primary health center to get the COVID vaccination. Identified PHC are situated at a distance of 10–15 km in a hill.

16/07/2021, Monday to 30/07/2021 On Friday, vehicles were called whenever vaccines were available. For a total of 6 days, vehicle support was provided to the Health Department of Pune Zila Parishad, Mulashi Taluka.

In 6 days, we successfully reached more than 1344 villagers. All the villagers are from different age groups, starting at 18 and above.

On 13th July 2021, the second phase of COVID-19 vaccination awareness was started in various areas of Pune City to spread awareness about COVID-19 vaccination among community Folks.
From 13th July 2021 to 18th July 2021, the team of Sevankur covered the east region of Pune City.

To vaccinate residents of 15 villages of Uchhapda and nearby GPs of Tangi block, Cuttack, Odisha and 180 villages in Gamharia block, all wards of Adityapur Municipality, Seraikela-Kharsawan district & Ghatsila blocks, East Singhbhum district, Jharkhand.
Strengthening its contribution to India’s war against COVID-19, the RSB Foundation, CSR Wings of RSB Transmissions (I) Ltd., joined forces with the CHC, Tangi & district health department of Cuttack district in Odisha and District Administration of Seraikela-Kharsawan & Jamshedpur in Jharkhand to roll out ‘Vaccination on Wheels’, a door-to-door vaccination campaign to cover 15 villages of Uchhapada, nearby GPs, Tangi and 180 villages under 21 Gram Panchayat and in Gamharia block, Adityapur Municipality area of Seraikela-Kharsawan district and Ghatsila block of East Singhbhum in the state.
This long vaccination drive provided COVID-19 vaccines at the doorsteps of every villager in these two blocks & residents of Adityapur Municipality and helped the state government in its mission to increase immunization penetration and achieve vaccination for all eligible people in the region.
“7 special vehicles RSB Foundation’s Mobile Vaccination Units (MVUs)” and 1 MVU had been designed, which travelled to different villages in Uchhapada and nearby gram panchayats in Cuttack, Odisha and different villages in Gamharia, Ghatsila blocks and the municipality area of Adityapur to vaccinate priority groups, including senior citizens and especially abled individuals. The ‘Vaccination on Wheels’ initiative managed more than 300 doses in Cuttack, Odisha and 1000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines in Jharkhand each vaccination day. Through this initiative, we helped to vaccinate over 2,00,000 beneficiaries in these villages and municipality areas.
The ‘Vaccination on Wheels’ (Mobile Vaccination Unit) vehicle also covered all educational institutions- schools & colleges (Government & Private) in Gamharia block under this community vaccination drive. The joint initiative enabled ease of access to vaccines for underprivileged communities and built equity that collectively accelerated the return to normalcy.
“The COVID pandemic had already affected many lives and livelihoods across the country. So, at that time vaccination was the best remedy available to fight this pandemic. With this initiative, we intended to provide the community with easy access to vaccines and accelerate the immunization rate in the region. We had alongside worked towards dispelling myths around vaccines and vaccination.
RSB Foundation also organized a “Covid-19 Vaccination Awareness Drive” in 21 villages of Gamharia and Ghatsila blocks of Seraikela and East Singhbhum districts respectively to mitigate the threat of COVID-19 while extending support to local communities.
With COVID-19 emerging as one of the biggest crises all of mankind has faced in recent times, RSB Group realigned its CSR strategy to focus on fighting COVID-19 and rolled out initiatives aimed at providing relief to community members during these unprecedented times. As part of this, RSB Group supported distressed families by providing them cooked food packets, groceries, face masks, and sanitisers to tide them over during these troubled times.
